AS 3740 waterproofing — the part you never see.
Failed waterproofing is the number-one reason Pakenham bathrooms get renovated. Pakenham’s early-2000s estate stock in Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside and Heritage Springs is hitting 15–20-plus years, and those original membranes crack at the floor-to-wall junction and fail behind the shower hob. We strip back to substrate and re-waterproof every wet area to AS 3740 — the right falls, the right membrane, the right cure time — before a single tile goes on. Cheap renovators tile over a tired membrane and you are leaking again within five years.
VBA registration, certificates & the $16,000 line.
Bathroom work involves licensed plumbing and electrical that must be certified with a Compliance Certificate, and any structural change must meet the NCC Volume 2. We are a VBA-registered building practitioner, and because almost every full renovation costs more than $16,000 we carry the Domestic Building Insurance required under the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (VIC). That paperwork protects you — and it is exactly what unregistered handymen skip.

Handover
Final plumbing & electrical fit-off, frameless glass, silicone, clean and Compliance Certificates. Then your finished bathroom.
